Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Today I am participating in Top Ten Tuesday

Below are the Top 10 books I recommend to others to read. Each of these has resonated with me emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. They have changed the way I think and have impacted the way I feel. Regardless of when I read them, they have never left me. These books have left a long-lasting impint on my mind.
The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck

How Green Was My Valley by Richard Llewellyn

East of Eden by John Steinbeck

The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck

My Antonia by Willa Cather

The Reader by Bernhard Schlink

The History of Love by Nicole Krauss

Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison

Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Happy Reading!

  1. To Kill a Mockingbird is an excellent choice! I haven't read Tender is the Night, but I loved the Great Gatsby. I've always wanted to read East of Eden too. Great list!

  2. Grapes, Good Earth, To Kill. . . talk about amazing books!!!

  3. FINALLY! A list that came as close to mine in context of books you are sharing. I'm ashamed to say I have only read My Antonia and Invisible Man from your list. I do have To Kill a Mockingbird on my TBR list for this year. Check out my list on my site and maybe you'll find some interesting ideas for future reads? I'm guessing you may have read all my choices already though lol

    Happy Reading!

  4. Great classics Rebecca, nice list.

  5. I had for gotten about My Antonia! I read it maybe ten years ago and remember really enjoying it.

  6. Great picks, some classics for sure, i tend to read more YA but i have heard of most of yours. New GFC Follower Thanks for checking out our TTT ~ Katie @ Inkk

  7. Same as with your other post, I agree with this list. So many great choices. And it means that I have to add those books to my wishlist that I haven't read because I am sure I will enjoy them. Thanks.
