Nature's Beauty
These pics are linked up to Saturday Snapshot, a super fun meme hosted by Alyce at At Home With Books. Head on over and check out some great photos!

A doe and her fawn we spotted just outside of our backyard earlier this week.
The humidity was so high that my camera lens kept fogging.

Mother tending to her baby's needs. Such a beautiful sight!
Take some time today to explore your surrounding and discover nature's beauty.

  3. You are so lucky to get deer visiting you - we are much too urban for deer.

  6. Beautiful photos. We have deer in our neck of the woods (southern Alberta, Canada), but not so adorable as this one... looks like Bambi and Mom.

  7. I really like the quote in your masthead. Also I like that you have the balls to show the cover of 50 Shades of Grey on your sidebar. I read about half of it and kinda lost interest and I can't quite believe they will actually make a movie version!
If you liked Life of Pi, (I did, even though it left me scratching my head a bit) do you know that they've adapted it for the screen? Check out the trailer and let me know what you think. Oh yeah, and I joined your blog.:)

    1. Sim-- Thanks for visiting and following my blog! I am following you back at Chapter 1 - Take 1. 50 Shades was one of my book club's selections. We were all interested in learning what all of the hype was about. I did enjoy Life of Pi- until the ending! I am still unsure of how I feel about it. It is clear from your blog that you have a gift for writing! Thanks for keeping us informed on the film creations from books.
      Happy Reading!

  8. I have been having the same problem with my camera lately. Stupid humidity! I wish the deer I tried to take pictures of were closer. These are great pictures!

  9. The deer are so pretty! I saw two fawns yesterday (where was the mother?), but didn't have my camera handy.
